Pair Staffordshire girl/boy with flower basket on goat

Victorian, circa 1860. Tallest is 7.5ins high, 5.6ins wide, 3.2ins depth. Pair of Parr Factory Staffordshire figures with a pastoral
theme which feature a girl and boy, each sat on a goat's back holding a flower basket, stood on a rococo base.



Dull gilt embellishment. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.







Vent hole to the underside.

Condition

CONDITION: Female: Generally good.

Slight wear to upper base and goat at rear.









RESTORATION. Girl's head,









goat's tail





and right ear reglued and joins retouched.



Stabilised and retouched crack to horns.



Stabilised and retouched hairline to goat's front right leg.





Retouched paint losses to goat's markings.







Male: Generally good.

Some flakes to base edge at rear.





Some paint losses to ground





and one shoe.



RESTORATION. Goat's tail,





boys neck









and left foot reglued and joins retouched.



Left horn remodelled.
