Staffordshire lilac octagonal house pastille burner
Victorian, circa 1860. 4.9ins high, 4.8ins wide, 4.8ins depth. Staffordshire pastille burner which features an octagonal tower house, stood on a circular detachable base. Lilac version. Dull gilt base line and embellishment.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Condition
Cover: Good. Slight rubbing to gilt.
RESTORATION. Filled chip to front door.
Retouched shrinkage line to front door.
Base: Very good. No restoration. KILN EFFECTS: a couple of specks of kiln grit caught in the glaze.
