Victorian, circa 1860. 4.9ins high, 6.3ins wide, 3.1ins depth. Staffordshire porcellaneous cottage with a pastoral theme which features a cottage with a pink thatched roof with a dog sitting in a doorway
at one end, a water pump to the other end, stood on an oval base.
Multi-coloured version. Dull gilt base line and embellishment. Flatback, decorated only to the front.

Condition
CONDITION: Generally good. Small chips to flowers and leaves on base.
Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: a few specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the front;
flecks of stray coloured glaze to front and reverse.
RESTORATION: Old restoration to front, left side and reverse of base
and remodelled shredded clay to front and left side of base.
