pre-Victorian, circa 1820. 4ins high, 7.2ins wide, 3ins depth. Staffordshire pearlware figure which features a sheep, recumbent on a shaped hollow base.
Multi-coloured version. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

KILN EFFECTS: a few specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the right front hoof,
