Small Pair Staffordshire Jackfield spaniels

Victorian, circa 1860. Tallest is 6.5ins high, 6.9ins wide, 3.1ins depth.

Pair of Staffordshire figures which feature a spaniel, front legs modelled free from body, seated directly on the ground, no base.



Jackfield black version. Dull gilt embellishment. Flatback, decorated only to the front.



Vent holes to the underside.

Condition

Right facing: Fair. Chip to lower base edge.



Some rubbing to gilt.



RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched hairlines to both front legs.





Stabilised and retouched hairlines along mold join up chest and back.





Stabilised and retouched crack to reverse.



Left facing: Good. No restoration. Tiny flake to top of dog's head.



Some rubbing to gilt.



Slight wear to front and reverse.
