Staffordshire three storey snow-covered house

Victorian, circa 1890. 7ins high, 5.5ins wide, 2.5ins depth.

Staffordshire house which features a three storey house with thatch-textured roof covered in snow, stood on a shaped base.



Grey version. Bright gilt base line. Flatback, decorated only to the front. Vent holes to reverse and underside.





Book reference not found.

Condition

Good. Small chip to lower base edge at front.



A couple of bruises to lower base edge at rear.





Slight wear to one chimney top.



Some rubbing to gilt.



KILN EFFECTS: kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the base front.



RESTORATION. Remodelled piece of shredded clay to upper base edge.



Retouched paint losses to window frames.
