Blue glass fairy size diamond quilted fairy lamp

Blue glass fairy size dome with embossed ribs in diamond quilted pattern. Sits in a ribbed glass cup with maker's mark 'S. CLARKES PATENT TRADE MARK FAIRY' to base.











Fairy lamps originated in England in the 1840's and are candle burning night lights that would have been used in nurseries, hallways, and dimly lit corners of the home.

Generally good. No restoration. No cracks. No hairlines. Small chip to cup exterior.
