Majolica oyster plate

Victorian, circa 1880. 10ins high, 10ins wide, 0.7ins depth. Majolica oyster plate which features six alternate coloured wells on a bed of coral.
Colouration: pink, cream, cobalt blue, are predominant.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. Slight wear to the high points of the molding.







KILN EFFECT: a few over glazed shrinkage lines to the interior.







RESTORATION: Filled chip to rim on one shell.
