Holdcroft Majolica pond lily tray

Victorian, circa 1870. 9ins high, 13.6ins wide, 1.8ins depth. Holdcroft Majolica tray which features pond lilies and flowers.

Colouration: green, brown, turquoise, are predominant.

Bears a pattern number, '21'.

Condition

CONDITION: Generally good. KILN EFFECTS: stilt marks to the interior;

touch mark to the interior;

glaze misses around the flowers;

flecks of stray coloured glaze to the interior.

RESTORATION: Stabilised and retouched hairlines - 1 to each handle, and stabilised hairline to rim.
