Majolica Cow & apple tree cheese dome & stand

Victorian, circa 1870. 10ins high, 11.4ins wide, 11.4ins depth. Majolica cheese keep which features two cows, two apple trees and apple finial.

Colouration: cobalt blue, green, brown, are predominant.

Condition

CONDITION: Cover: Good. Wear to the high points of the molding.

KILN EFFECTS: uneven glaze application to the interior.

RESTORATION. Filled chip to finial.

Base: Good. Scratches from use.

RESTORATION. Filled chip to rim.
