Majolica naughty lady on ladder dish
Victorian, circa 1880. 6.8ins high, 4.5ins wide, 1.1ins depth. Majolica dish which features a lady on a ladder picking fruit from a tree, with the reverse modeled as her bare bottom peeping through the rungs of the ladder. Colouration: cobalt blue, grey, cream, are predominant.
The piece bears marks which we cannot attribute to a particular source. Bears a pattern number, '3139'.

Good. No restoration. Small flake to rim.
Wear to the high points of the molding.
Paint loss to one of her eyes.
