Large Gustafsberg Majolica storks vase

Victorian, circa 1880. 15.2ins high, 4.7ins wide, 4.7ins depth. Gustafsberg Majolica vase which features birds (storks) and leaves and supported by three lion feet.



Colouration: cobalt blue, green, brown, are predominant.

CONDITION: Good. No restoration. Tight hairlines to rim on one side of vase.





KILN EFFECTS: kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the base;



over glazed shrinkage lines to the top of two legs;





glaze pops to the base.
