Staffordshire leopard with cubs and snake spill vase

Victorian, circa 1860. 9.8ins high, 5.1ins wide, 2.8ins depth. Staffordshire spill vase which features a snake wrapped around the tree
and a leopard with her two cubs, recumbent on a shaped base.



Multi-coloured version. Dull gilt base line. Decorated mainly to the front.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. No restoration.

Bruise to reverse of leopard tail.



Small flake to leopard's right ear.



A few paint losses to ground.





Slight rubbing to gilt.





KILN EFFECTS: stained crazing;









shrinkage crack with associated flake to tail.
