Miniature Staffordshire castle
Victorian, circa 1860. 2.6ins high, 2.7ins wide, 1.1ins depth. Staffordshire castle which features a twin turreted keep, stood on an oval base. Multi-coloured version. Dull gilt embellishment.
Flatback, decorated only to the front.

Condition
Generally good.
KILN EFFECTS: over glazed shrinkage line to the reverse
and underside, with associated flakes;
kiln soot and detritus caught in the glaze;
flecks of stray coloured glaze to the reverse.
RESTORATION. Filled chip to central tower
and underside.
Retouched flake to the tallest tower.
