Staffordshire two storey cottage

Victorian, circa 1840. 7.5ins high, 5.9ins wide, 4.3ins depth. Staffordshire cottage which features pierced windows and a turret, stood directly on the ground, no base. Multi-coloured version. Dull gilt embellishment. Decorated mainly to the front.

Condition

Generally good. Some small flakes to top window, base, top of roof and to reverse.













Some paint losses to orange enamel.



Slight rubbing to gilt.



KILN EFFECTS: some craze lines to front;



kiln soot caught in the glaze to the reverse;





kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the base;



shrinkage lines to the left hand pillar.



RESTORATION: filled chips to tops of pillars.
