Majolica cat pitcher/jug with cobalt blue ground

Victorian, circa 1870. 7.9ins high, 5.5ins wide, 4.5ins depth. Majolica jug/pitcher which features blossom and berries and a cat forming the handle.

Cobalt blue ground version. Colouration: cobalt blue, white, green, are predominant.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. No restoration. Small flake to rim and to cat's ear.

KILN EFFECTS: touch mark to the side;

glaze run to the cobalt glaze;

shrinkage cracks/lines to paws.
