Majolica corn on the cob bread platter
Victorian, circa 1870. 11ins high, 13ins wide, 2ins depth. Majolica bread platter which features corn on the cob and leaves on a basket weave ground.
Colouration: green, ochre, brown, are predominant.

Condition
CONDITION: Good. Small flake to the border.
Wear to the high points of the molding.
KILN EFFECTS: glaze run to the green glaze;
over glazed shrinkage lines to the interior;
touch mark to the rim.
RESTORATION: Filled chip to the underside of rim.
