Rare Wedgwood Majolica deer plate
Victorian, circa 1885. 1.1ins high, 9.1ins wide, 9.1ins depth. Wedgwood Majolica plate which features a deer.
Colouration: brown, ochre, grey, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery.
Bears a pattern number, 'M.1602.C'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1885.

CONDITION: Very good. No restoration.
KILN EFFECTS: over glazed chip to the rim;
flecks of stray coloured glaze to the interior and border.
