Victorian, circa 1870. 12.7ins high, 5.9ins wide, 5.9ins depth. George Jones Majolica vase which features an amphora supported by a stand with three lion feet.



Colouration: cobalt blue, ochre, brown, are predominant.











Bears a pattern number, '1785'.

CONDITION: Good.

Scratches to the neck and the body of the vase.



KILN EFFECTS: flecks of stray coloured glaze to the rim



and lion's feet;







touch mark to the body of the vase.



RESTORATION: Two rings remodelled.





Retouched flakes to upper base edge.
