Majolica Oyster plate

Victorian, circa 1880. 10ins high, 9.9ins wide, 0.6ins depth. Majolica oyster plate which features six shell shaped wells surrounding a circular centre well.





Colouration: green, brown, pink, are predominant. Book reference not found.

Condition

Good. No restoration.

Wear to the high points of the molding.







KILN EFFECTS: notable crazing to the green wells.
