Mintons Majolica Basket weave vase

Victorian, circa 1878. 5.9ins high, 4.3ins wide, 4.3ins depth. Mintons Majolica vase which features a basket weave ground. Colouration: ochre, green, are predominant.







The piece bears maker's marks for the Mintons pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1689'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1878.

Very good. No restoration.

KILN EFFECTS: flecks of stray coloured glaze and a small firing pit to exterior.
