Wedgwood Majolica grape & strawberry plate

Early to mid 20thC, circa 1929. 9.1ins high, 9.1ins wide, 0.9ins depth. Wedgwood Majolica plate which features strawberries, leaves, grapes and blossoms.



Yellow ground version. Colouration: green, yellow, pink, are predominant.



The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery.
Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1929.

CONDITION: Good. No restoration.

Small flake to rim and under rim.







KILN EFFECTS: two glaze pops to front and reverse;





glaze accumulation to the foot rim.
