Watcombe Majolica mice & egg posy holder

Victorian, circa 1870. 2.8ins high, 4.1ins wide, 2.4ins depth. Watcombe posy holder which features two mice either side of an egg shell. Colouration: brown, cream, green, are predominant.









'WATCOMBE TORQUAY' stamped to underside.

Good. Small flake to two of the mice's ears.





Staining from use.



KILN EFFECTS: glaze run to the brown and green glazes.







RESTORATION: Filled chips to the rim.
