Large Minton Majolica lily candle holder
Victorian, circa 1863. 3.5ins high, 15.4ins wide, 15.4ins depth. Minton Majolica candlestick holder which features pond lilies and bulrushes, with a centrered flower to hold the candlestick.
Colouration: green, white, ochre, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1041'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1863.

Some wear to the tops of the petals.
KILN EFFECTS: glaze accumulation to the outer edge in one section;
piece of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the interior.
RESTORATION. Retouched flakes to the lily in the centre.
Remodelled tips to two of the petals.
