Victorian, circa 1890. 6.9ins high, 15.7ins wide, 7.7ins depth. Palissy Majolica figural which features a crocodile-like reptile. Colouration: green, brown, ochre, are predominant.

Slight wear to the high points of the molding.
KILN EFFECTS: a number of shrinkage lines, some overglazed;
a few specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze;
stray coloured glaze/kiln soot to the crocodile's left front leg
and inside mouth.
RESTORATION: Retouched flakes to crocodile's back,
feet and claws.
