Wedgwood Majolica grape&strawberry plate

Early to mid 20thC, circa 1929. 9.1ins high, 9.1ins wide, 1ins depth. Wedgwood Majolica plate which features strawberries, leaves, grapes and blossoms.



Yellow ground version. Colouration: green, yellow, pink, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1929.

Very good. No restoration.

Very slight wear to interior.







KILN EFFECTS: a few specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the interior;



chip, associated with stilt mark, to the underside.
