Wedgwood Majolica grape & strawberry compote
Victorian, circa 1870. 5.5ins high, 11.4ins wide, 10ins depth. Wedgwood Majolica compote which features strawberries, leaves, grapes and blossoms.
Colouration: green, ochre, brown, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery. Bears a pattern number, '8V30'.

Condition
Generally good. Scratches from use.
KILN EFFECTS: glaze run to the green glaze;
piece of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the interior.
RESTORATION: Handles reglued and joins retouched.
Three stabilised and retouched hairlines to rim.
