Pair Staffordshire Queen Victoria&Albert with baby
Victorian, circa 1860. Tallest is 5.5ins high, 3.1ins wide, 2.6ins depth. Pair of Staffordshire figures with a royalty theme which feature Queen Victoria holding a child and Prince Albert, seated on a circular base.
Multi-coloured with underglaze blue version. Dull gilt base line and embellishment.
Decorated mainly to the front.
Vent holes to the underside. Maker's marks painted to the underside.

Condition
Queen Victoria: Good. No restoration.
Some paint losses to the orange enamel and hair.
Rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the hem on baby's gown;
shrinkage crack to lower base edge at reverse and reverse of throne;
small firing pit to Queen's neck.
Prince Albert: Good. No restoration.
Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: glaze run to the cobalt glaze;
some craze lines to the front and reverse,
some have slight staining;
a few specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the front of the base;
small firing pit to Prince's left leg and one to the base at reverse.
