Staffordshire Wesley clock group

Victorian, circa 1860. 11.2ins high, 5.5ins wide, 3.3ins depth.



Staffordshire clock group with a religious theme which features John Wesley preaching from a pulpit above a clock face, with an angel to either side, stood on a rococo base. The piece is titled, 'WESLEY' .



Multi-coloured version. Dull gilt embellishment. Flatback, decorated mainly to the front. Vent hole to the reverse.

CONDITION: Good. No restoration. Small flakes to the pulpit finials and one angel.







Rubbing to gilt.



KILN EFFECTS: notable crazing with some staining.
