Fairy size Nailsea-type glass fairy lamp and base Victorian, circa 1900. 5ins high.





Glass fairy lamp with Nailsea-type fairy size dome in citron with white loopings. Sits in an embossed clear glass cup.





Maker's mark 'S. CLARKE PATENT TRADEMARK CRICKLITE' to base of cup.



The cup and dome sit in a matching rounded base with an inwardly crimped rim.

Fairy lamps originated in England in the 1840's and are candle burning night lights that would have been used in nurseries, hallways, and dimly lit corners of the home.

CONDITION: Good.

Tiny chips to opening hole of dome.
