Clear Cricklite double fairy lamp on cut-glass standard Victorian, circa 1900. 20.5ins high.





Clear Cricklite double fairy lamp on cut-glass standard.



Two clear glass ogee domes with gilt rims embossed 'CRICKLITE', each resting in a clear diamond point glass cup.



Embossed maker's mark inside the cups 'CRICKLITE CLARKES PATENT TRADE MARK'.



A glass bowl sits inside each cup. Ormolu twin branch frame with 'CLARKE'S TRADE "CRICKLITE" MARK' inscribed on the inside of both cup holder rings.



Frame attached to a sharply cut footed standard in the form of a pillar.

Cricklite fairy lamps were commonly used for dining room lighting at the turn of the 20thC.

CONDITION: Good.

A few chips to the foot of one bowl.
