
Victorian, circa 1860. 16.9ins high, 7.1ins wide, 3ins depth. Staffordshire Pottery figure with a maritime theme which features a sailor holding a sailing boat on his shoulder, with a young boy next to him, stood on a shaped base.
The piece is titled, 'BEGGING SAILOR' . Dull gilt title and embellishment.
Flatback, decorated mainly to the front.
Vent hole to the reverse.
