
Circa 1918. 12.6ins high, 5.1ins wide, 5.1ins deep. Pair of Minton Secessionist No.1 vases of stretched barrel-like forms. The purple ground is decorated in blue and white slip-trailing, with green tube-lined outlines.
Maker's marks to base printed, 'MINTONS LTD No1' with engraved pattern number, '3707'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1918.
CONDITION: Very good. No restorations. A couple of specks of kiln detritus in the glaze.
