Hugo Lonitz Majolica Eagle-Owl Figure

Victorian, circa 1880. 17.3ins high, 7.9ins wide, 7.9ins depth. Hugo Lonitz Majolica figure which features an Eagle-owl, stood on a mossy ground.

Original glass eyes.

Colouration: brown, cream, grey, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Lonitz pottery. Bears a pattern number, '765'.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. Minor abrasions to two talons.

RESTORATION. Left ear is reglued and join retouched.

A base chip has been reglued and retouched.
