
Victorian, circa 1860. 11.4ins high, 6.7ins wide, 5.9ins depth. Minton Majolica jug/pitcher with lid which features ferns, berries, scales and geometric patterns around the sides.
Pewter lid, with maker's marks.
Colouration: brown, green, blue, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery.
Bears a pattern number, '473'. English diamond registration mark for the date 23/07/1852. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1860.
CONDITION: Good. No restoration. Some wear to the pewter lid. Small section of pewter missing on rim.
