Holdcroft Majolica Pond Lily Cheese Dome And Stand

Victorian, circa 1880. 8.1ins high, 10.2ins wide, 10.2ins depth. Holdcroft Majolica cheese keep which features fern fronds, and pond lily leaves and flowers.

Colouration: green, white, brown, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Holdcroft pottery.

CONDITION: Cover: Generally Good. RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched hairline to the side.

Stabilised and retouched crack to the side.

Filled chips to the knop.

Base: Good. KILN EFFECTS: glaze misses around the central plate.
