Pair Georgian Silkwork Embroideries of Flowers

George III, circa 1800. 11.7ins high, 10ins wide, 1ins deep. Pair of oval Georgian silkwork embroideries depicting flower posies.

The embroideries are worked in silk, on a black silk ground. The embroideries depict a variety of finely worked flowers, including roses with fine thorns.

Both are framed in an old, black wooden frames, glass covering and plywood backings.

CONDITION: Good. One with a few worn patches to the ground. A few wrinkles here and there.

No stitch losses. Frames have slight wear.
