George III, dated 1806. 2ins high, 1.8ins wide, 1.7ins deep. Georgian Pin Cushion Ball Sampler by Jane Oliver.

The spherical piece is finely knitted in silk threads, with a green silk ribbon around the middle.

The ribbon extends in a loop to form a carrying handle.

Colours green, gold, silver and brown/ purple.

Signed, 'Jane Oliver' and dated '1806.

Mottos read, The Gift is small' and 'Remember me'.

Geometric pattern motifs to the opposite side.

CONDITION: Very good. No stains, no holes, no stich loss.
