
pre-Victorian, circa 1820. Tallest is 8.3ins high, 6.3ins wide, 3.1ins depth. Pair of Staffordshire Pottery pearlware figures which feature brightly coloured cockerels or roosters, stood on a circular base.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
CONDITION: Figure 1: Good. KILN EFFECTS: kiln soot and glaze bubbling to the base;
touch mark to the head on the reverse.
RESTORATION. Filled chip to beak.
Retouched flakes to black.
