Rene Lalique Glass 'Six Tetes' Decanter

Introduced in 1914. 36cm (14.2ins) high, 15cm (5.9ins) diameter. Rene Lalique clear and frosted glass Six Tetes decanter.

This pattern features six heads around the neck.

Each has a different expression.

There is a clear glass pattern running down from each head, perhaps representing a beard and hair.

The stopper has a hemispherical swirling pattern.

Sepia stained highlights. Moulded makers mark, 'LALIQUE' and engraved, 'France' to the underside.
