
Victorian, circa 1875. 6.5ins high, 7.9ins wide, 7.3ins depth. Unidentified, but probably Thomas Sergent, French Palissy Majolica planter. Features frog handles, snakes, leaves, flowers and shells.
Colouration: green, grey, yellow, are predominant.
CONDITION: Generally Good. Some wear to interior.
Kiln effects: firing fault to frogs leg.
Stray glaze to the rim, which looks like chips, but is not.
RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched hairline to the rim.
Filled chips.
