Minton Majolica Holly and Misletoe Christmas Pitcher

Victorian, circa 1867. 7.1ins high, 6.3ins wide, 5.1ins depth. Minton Majolica jug/pitcher which features holly and mistletoe with a branch handle.

Colouration: cobalt blue, green, ochre, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '580'. English diamond registration mark for the date 10/01/1863. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1867.

CONDITION: Good. RESTORATION. Filled chip to the rim.
