
Victorian, circa 1889. 10.8ins high, 7.8ins wide, 3.7ins depth. Minton Majolica wall pocket which features a basketweave pocket mounted on wood-effect panels, surrounded by grape vines.
Colouration: yellow, green, brown, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery.
Bears a pattern number, '1690'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1889.
CONDITION: Good. RESTORATION. Four filled chips.
Some wear to the brown in places.
