Delphin Massier Majolica Mallard Duck Planter

Circa 1890. 7.3ins high, 10.2ins wide, 5.1ins depth. Delphin Massier French Majolica planter which features a mallard duck in a swimming posture, wings curled up behind.

Colouration: cream, teal blue, ochre, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Delphin Massier pottery.

CONDITION: Very Good. RESTORATION. A few minor retouched flakes.
