Victorian, circa 1870. 5.8ins high, 13.4ins wide, 12.2ins depth. Minton Majolica centrepiece bowl which features three pigeons perched on a leafy oak branch, supporting a large basketweave bowl on their fan tails.
Bowl is decorated with oak leaves and a band of white daisy flowers around the top.
Colouration: white, green, brown, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '874'.
CONDITION: Generally Good. Slight wear to the interior. Kiln effect: glaze miss to the interior.
RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched cracks to the rim.
Filled chips to oak leaves on the base.
