Circa 1880. 16.1ins high, 23.6ins wide, 3.5ins depth. Sarreguemines Majolica wall plaque which features a scene of three partridges foraging for food, amongst wheat, oak and a pond.
Molded in deep relief.
Colouration: cobalt blue, green, brown, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Sarreguemines pottery. Bears a pattern number, '571'.
CONDITION: Good. Small abrasion to rim.
RESTORATION. Two stabilised and retouched cracks to the rim.
Filled chip to one oak leaf.
