Victorian, circa 1872. 4.8ins high, 4.3ins wide, 3.7ins depth. George Jones Majolica jug/pitcher which features the handle modelled as a swallow, perched onto it's nest. The body of the jug is modelled in the form of a swallow nest.
Colouration: white, black, turquoise, are predominant.
Bears a pattern number, '3440 x'. English diamond registration mark for the date ????.
CONDITION: Good. RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched hairline to the rim.
