Joseph Holdcroft Majolica Fish on Coral Dish

Victorian, circa 1880. 1.7ins high, 8.3ins wide, 6.9ins depth. Holdcroft Majolica dish which features two entwined fish and coral.

Cobalt blue ground version. Colouration: cobalt blue, green, grey, are predominant.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. Kiln effects: thin glaze to the blue in the dish.

And a couple of specks of thin glaze in same area.

RESTORATION. A couple of filled chips.
