
Victorian, circa 1860. 6.9ins high, 11ins wide, 5.3ins depth. Staffordshire Pottery tureen with cover which features a duck forming the lid, sitting on a base molded with a rippling water effect.
Maker's mark, '6' molded into the underside.
CONDITION: Cover: Good. KILN EFFECTS: touch mark to the wing;
thin glaze application to one wing.
RESTORATION. A few retouched flakes to the wing tips and tail tip.
Base: Very good. No restoration. KILN EFFECTS: craze line to the exterior, not present to interior.
