Pr Rare Staffordshire Pottery Cats on Cushions

Victorian, circa 1860. Tallest is 5.3ins high, 5.4ins wide, 2.8ins depth. Pair of Staffordshire Pottery figures which feature a cat on a cushion, recumbent on an oval base.

Dull gilt base line and embellishment.

Condition

CONDITION: Right facing: Good. No restoration. Tiny flake to left ear.

Slight paint loss to cushion. Gilt almost entirely rubbed away.

KILN EFFECTS: touch marks to reverse.

Left facing: Good. No restoration. Tiny nibble to right ear.

Minor paint losses to cushion. Some rubbing to gilt.
